Ayesha Akhter
Country President, BangladeshAyesha Akhter is a seasoned logistics and supply chain professional with over 20 years of experience spanning freight forwarding, warehousing, business development and general management. She currently serves as Managing Director of Access Freight Systems Limited, where she oversees business operations, organisational development, strategic direction and ERP systems.
Ayesha holds a Master’s and Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Dhaka and has undertaken professional training in supply chain, logistics and transportation. She is a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
Beyond her corporate leadership, Ayesha is actively engaged in community and women’s empowerment initiatives. She serves as Treasurer of Zonta Club of Dhaka Bangladesh III and is associated with Amader Uthaan Krishi, which focuses on safe farming and empowering underprivileged women. Her international engagement includes participation as the sole representative of Bangladesh at the W20 and G20 Summit 2023, as well as serving as a participant and panelist at ABWCI’s Her Courage Leaders’ Summit 2024 in Singapore.
As Country President – Bangladesh, ABWCI, Ayesha brings a strong combination of business leadership, international exposure, logistics expertise and commitment to women’s economic empowerment to the ABWCI global community.
