Kattia Lizzett Vasconcelos-Vásquez is a professor, researcher, With over 28 years at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA), she leads the Network of Women Researchers and the Soft Skills Program (PROHABLA).
An accomplished author of 12 books and 63 publications, she specializes in sustainability, leadership, and gender equality. She is a certified facilitator in Lego® Serious Play® and Wake Up Brain methodologies, pioneering gamification in education.
She is the founder of multiple academic networks and vice president of RED-SIMAD, actively promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Recognized nationally and internationally for her contributions, she is one of 16 global leaders for gender equality and sustainability.
With 35 years of experience in human resources, project management, and business events, Kattia runs three companies in Costa Rica and the U.S. and is a PhD candidate in Environmental and Territorial Sustainability. Through her work, she continues to drive impact in education, research, and entrepreneurship.
