Rezani Aziz

Rezani Aziz is the Founding Chief Executive Officer and Director of Adfactors Public Relations Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. A PR practitioner with over 27 years’ experience in Public Affairs, Corporate and Financial Communications, Issues & Crisis Management, Advocacy and Brand PR, delivering successful communications campaigns for a portfolio of leading Multi National Companies, Government and Private Sector Bodies and Organizations.

She has been volunteering her time for women entrepreneurship development for over 30 years as a member, board member and chairperson of the Women’s Chamber of Industry & Commerce, Sri Lanka in 2005-2006. In 2001, she headed the task force of the Chamber to create the SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneur Council (SCWEC), under the aegis of the SAARC Secretariat and SCCI. Among the global forums that she was involved in included, Vital Voices, steering committee member of South Asian Women Entrepreneur Symposium (SAWES), both a part of Hilary Clinton’s Global Women’s Initiative (GWI), in addition to several women’s entrepreneurship forums both globally and in South Asia.

As a team member of WCIC’s policy advocacy committee the team was able to secure a 5% mandatory loan allocation exclusively for women entrepreneurs from the national portfolio of loans – this was passed at the 2015 national budget in Sri Lanka.
